Managers, Supervisors and HR Staff may come across or be involved in the initial intake of a complaint or information that relates to possible staff misconduct/serious misconduct. As part of the initial intake of such matters it is important to be aware of the university's legislative obligations for dealing with corrupt conduct and public interest disclosures. The purpose of this training is to provide them with an overview.
This will be an interactive workshop that will not only provide information on legislative requirements and university process, but will also include scenario based exercises to assist with identifying which matters may constitute corrupt conduct and /or be a public interest disclosure.
This course will enable participants to:
- identify corrupt conduct and/or public interest disclosures
- understand the university's legislative obligations for reporting such matters
- understand the university's process for dealing with corrupt conduct and public interest
disclosures and what this means to you as a supervisor/manager; and
- learn about assessment tools to assist with identifying possible corrupt conduct and
public interest disclosures.
