Managing people is an ongoing learning process. This workshop is designed for professional staff supervisors and managers who have previously undertaken the full Recognition and Development training and would like to update and further their knowledge and skills.
The workshop will include an overview of the current Recognition and Development process, and an opportunity to develop skills, including giving feedback and having difficult conversations about performance.
This is NOT a substitute for the Recognition and Development training, which is required for all professional staff supervisors. Completion of the full Recognition and Development training is a pre-requisite for enrolment in this workshop.
This course will enable participants to:
1. Refresh their understanding of the Recognition and Development process
2. Become familiar with tools and resources to support the process
3. Practice skills for managing people throughout the year.
