This course has been designed to provide staff with information on the University's classification process and introduce principles of the University evaluation system.

This course will assist in understanding how university positions are classified, how to complete the classification documentation, and what additional information to provide when submitting a position for classification.

Please note: by completing this course you will not be eligible to participate as a job family moderator for classification purposes or be a member of an Appeals panel.

This course will enable participants to:

1. Understand the importance of the position description
2. Understand the type of information and documentation required for a
    classification submission
3. Understand the key principles of the University evaluation process
4. Understand the University's requirements around position classification.
