You must complete SI-net Fundamentals & SI-net Records and Enrolments as prerequisite courses prior to attending SI-net Course Catalogue.
This course is run centrally only when required. Please try to arrange training with your SI-net expert user before enrolling in the course.
SI-net is the University's student administration system, is a database storing all aspects of student data (application for admission, enrolment, progression, financial, etc.) online.
Course Catalogue training will cover entering/viewing/updating course selection, generating course selection reports and entering class permission numbers. Run in 2 sessions - Parts A & B. Staff must attend both sessions.
Training incorporates theoretical and practical-based learning competencies to ensure staff can apply the skills back at work.
Training attendance is linked to SI-net access so only trained staff have access.
This course will enable participants to:
1. identify key fields within the course catalogue and schedule of classes
2. enter new courses in the course catalogue
3. modify existing courses
4. schedule new courses
5. understand and process year long courses.
