Scholarly communication and publishing are central for good research practices. Even the most impressive research findings are of little, if any, value if they are not shared with the community.
However, scholarly publishing choices are often influenced by the evaluation of research via national and global rankings, funder mandates and new trends driven by open science and open research initiatives.
This training is designed to look at what is affecting scholarly publishing and understand how to best navigate the scholarly communication landscape.
