Duration: 2 hours
Coordinator: Mr Alex Jackson
Presenter: Mr Alex Jackson
This course has been designed for staff who have responsibility for welcoming new employees to the University (e.g. HR Officer, Induction Officer, Line Manager).
This workshop will assist in understanding the importance of appropriate induction so that new staff can become productive members of the unit and avoid misunderstandings in the future. Learn that induction can be far more interesting than a simple form filling exercise!
This course will enable participants to:
1. Recognise the benefits to both the new employee and organisation of a
coordinated and well conducted induction program
2. Identify how the local induction ties in with the corporate induction activities
3. Develop and run induction programs for their organisational unit.
