This advanced course builds on report formatting skills using the functionality available in BusinessObjects Design Mode. The exercises focus on formulae writing to support customised reporting and analysis.
This course is suited to staff looking to develop their report design skills.
Participants will learn to:
1. Create variables using common functions
2. Add complex calculations to tables and charts
3. Use conditional formatting
4. Add notes, comments and hyperlinks to reports

About the UQ Reportal and BusinessObjects:
The UQ Reportal allows staff to view existing standard reports in a web-based format. BusinessObjects is a business intelligence tool that enables staff to retrieve, analyse and report data from UQ's corporate systems (e.g. SI-Net, Aurion, UniFi, Research Master).
